Beni Suef University organizes an introductory seminar on the projects of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life”

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, organized an introductory symposium on the projects of the Presidential Initiative “A Decent Life”, in coordination with the Decent Life Foundation to enhance volunteer work efforts for university students, at the College of Commerce headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Dean of the College, Dr. Eid Ahmed, Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Jabr, General Coordinator of Decent Life Foundation, Colonel Medhat Zakaria, Director of Decent Life Foundation, Mr/Muhammad Al-Masry, Field Coordinator of Decent Life Foundation, and Mrs/Zainab Rajab, Director of the General Administration of Environmental Projects, faculty members and college students.
The President of Beni Suef University praised the presidential initiative, A Decent Life, which was launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and which was praised by many countries of the world for being multiple in its pillars and integrated in its features. Because it stems from a cultural responsibility, as the initiative aims to provide an integrated package of services that includes health, social, and living aspects that are provided to the Egyptian citizen, especially the most needy societal groups, with the aim of investing in human development and enhancing the value of the Egyptian personality.
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the university has, during the last period, participated in the initiative in order to activate its role in serving the community, through integrated convoys to the villages most in need, dispensing free treatment to patients, and transferring cases that need follow-up surgical operations to university hospitals, indicating that the university has capabilities and specializations qualifies it to participate in all areas of the initiative through university hospitals.
During the meeting, Hayat Karima officials reviewed the achievements that took place in Beni Suef Governorate after the Biba and Nasser centers were included in the first phase of the initiative to implement 1,616 projects in all different sectors.
