President of Beni Suef University leads a student delegation from the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science to visit the Information and Decision Support Center in the New Administrative Capital

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, led a student delegation from Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science to visit the Information and Decision Support Center in the New Administrative Capital, where the delegation was received by Professor Osama El Gohary, Assistant of the Egyptian Prime Minister and Head of the Center, under the supervision of Dr. Naglaa Muhammad Bakr, Dean of the College, and Dr. Al-Shaima Abdel Salam, Political Science teacher at the College, academic supervisor, and scientific coordinator of the visit.
The student meeting was attended by Dr. Yasser Darwish, Ms. Amani Farouk, and many directors of various departments.
The University President stressed the importance of the distinguished role played by the Information and Decision Support Center at the Council of Ministers in presenting various reports and studies to support decision makers and raising awareness of the government’s activities and its presence in various issues, as well as the role of the Center in serving and supporting scientific research, encouraging students and researchers to obtain information and providing various training opportunities to qualify and prepare them to become distinguished cadres capable of serving society and the nation.
For his part, Professor Osama Al-Gohary praised the progress achieved by Beni Suef University under the leadership of Dr. Mansour Hassan, pointing out that the students will learn during the visit the center’s work axes and the way it works by getting to know the center’s electronic application, in addition to learning about the work methods at the Center for Public Opinion Survey and Research.
While Dr. Najla Bakr, Dean of the College, stressed the importance of the visit for students, especially fourth-grade students, as the center provides them with the possibility of training to help them work in their field after they graduate.
Dr. Al-Shaima Abdel Salam, political science teacher at the college, explained that the aim of the visit is to learn about the experience of the center, which is considered the main think tank in Egypt in serving decision-makers, as well as the publications it provides in various fields, whether political, economic or social.
At the end of the visit, shields were exchanged between the head of the center and the university president, and souvenir photos were taken. A tour was organized for the students in the government district of the New Administrative Capital to see the greatness of the Egyptian state.
