Faculty of Nursing in Beni Suef celebrates the International Week for Interfaith Tolerance and the International Day of Human Fraternity

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing organized a celebration on the occasion of the International Week for Interfaith Tolerance and the International Day of Human Fraternity, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Nagy, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Hanan El-Zabalawy Hassan, Vice Dean of the College of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The celebration was lectured by Sheikh / Reda Mohamed Abdel Halim, General Director of Religious Guidance and Advocacy in the preaching zone of Beni Suef, as well as Yaacoub Labib Younan, pastor of Mar Girgis Church in Beni Bakheet.

For his part, President of University stressed that the United Nations’ celebration of interfaith harmony in February held to emphasize the values of dialogue and understanding, especially between followers of religions, for the sake of peaceful coexistence in human societies, stressing that the University is keen to consolidate the values and principles of religious tolerance and national unity, In addition to its support for all global initiatives that work to promote interfaith dialogue and combat hate speech.
