President of Beni Suef University Chairs Committee for Nominating Deans of the Faculties of Engineering and Earth Sciences

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the committees responsible for selecting new deans for the Faculties of Engineering and Earth Sciences.

The committee for the Faculty of Engineering included Dr. Taref Shawky, former Vice President of the University; Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, also a former Vice President; Dr. Gamal Helmy Mohamed, Professor at Benha University; and Dr. Amr Metwally El-Sayed, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Beni Suef University. The meeting was attended by the candidates: Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, Dr. Mohamed Nabil Bayoumi, Dr. Ahmed Fathy Ibrahim, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed El-Tohami, Dr. Kamal Ghamry Metwally, Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Sami, and Dr. Riham El-Dessouky Hamed.

As for the committee responsible for selecting the Dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, it included Dr. Taref Shawky and Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, along with Dr. Mokhtar Ibrahim Youssef, Professor at Alexandria University, and Dr. Gouda Ismail, Professor at the Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University. The meeting was attended by the candidates Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Abdel Meguid and Dr. Essam Abdel Rahman Mohamed.

Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized that both committees engaged the candidates in discussions regarding their key achievements and their visions for developing academic and administrative systems within their respective faculties. He noted that the selection process was guided by clear and transparent criteria aimed at choosing the most suitable candidates—ultimately to serve the interests of the students, who remain the cornerstone of the university system.
