The Faculty of Social Work, in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, organized a conference under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan The University President, an educational seminar entitled Health Education and Social Rehabilitation for those about to get married, under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hindawi Abdel Lahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Service, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Mohamed Al-Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Development for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Amal Al-Shabrawy, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Development and Dr. Tasneem Rajab, Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, lectured at the seminar

The seminar addressed the considerations that must be taken into account regarding premarital health education and the emphasis on the necessary medical consultations and examinations for spouses. The seminar also addressed genetic diseases. The seminar also discussed the importance of premarital social counseling because it has a fundamental impact on improving their ability to communicate and strengthening the marital bond. At the end of the seminar, the floor was opened for discussion to answer the attendees’ inquiries
