Visit of students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Beni Suef, to the Animal Production Complex in Fayoum

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Popular Defense Forces and Military Command organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, a visit was made to the Integrated Animal and Dairy Production Complex in Fayoum for the college students. The visit comes within the framework of introducing the students to national projects to develop a spirit of loyalty and belonging, under the supervision of Colonel Khaled Nabil Ibrahim, Director of the Military Education Department, and coordination with  Colonel Taha Salah Matar, Deputy Director of the Department The students toured the integrated animal production complex, which spans an area of ??485 acres and includes three farms for raising and fattening livestock, a two-line automated slaughterhouse constructed according to the latest international standards and health and environmental requirements, and several dairy and meat product factories. The complex also includes a scientific center for veterinary research and training, spanning an area of ??13,000 square meters, and includes a number of lecture halls and laboratories equipped for the complex's veterinary work system It was designed and equipped to keep pace with scientific and technological advances in the fields of animal, poultry, and fish production, to advance livestock wealth. For their part, the students expressed their happiness with the tremendous technological leap within the Animal Production Complex and its technical level, including the latest equipment and machinery, in addition to its highly trained human resources, which align with the directions of the new republic and Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development
