Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Department of Information Systems and Electronic Archives at the Faculty of Arts organized a visit to the Egypt Digital Creativity Center in Smart Village, Beni Suef Governorate. The visit included a group of faculty members, department supervisors, and fourth-year students. The visit was under the supervision of Dr. Maha Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the Information Sciences Department, and Dr. Manal Gamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology and Academic Supervisor of the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) branch in Beni Suef. This visit falls within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the university and the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI), affiliated with the Ministry of Communications.
For his part, the University President emphasized the importance of field visits, which are among the most important educational tools that help students connect theoretical knowledge with practical application. They also help students see the concepts they are studying in their real-life context, which enhances their comprehension of information. They also provide students with the opportunity to acquire new skills through interaction with experts. During the visit, the services provided by the Institute's branch to students, as well as the scholarships and courses that students can benefit from in their academic future, were reviewed.
