Beni Suef University students participate in the central camp activities of the Family and Community Awareness Program for Egyptian university students.

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, a number of university students participated in the central camp for the Family and Community Awareness Program, which was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the slogan "A stable family equals a safe society" in cooperation with the Al-Azhar World Center for Electronic Fatwa. This is aimed at correcting concepts, promoting the values ??of tolerance, rejecting fanaticism and extremism, achieving a correct understanding of religions, and spreading community and family awareness in order to protect and strengthen the structure of the Egyptian family . Also , it aimed to increase the cohesion and solidarity of the family through awareness-raising and advocacy roles that identify problems and confront them with correct religious concepts, and address some phenomena such as (atheism, extremism, addiction, illegal immigration, terrorism, suicide, rumors, and electronic blackmail).
The students visited Al-Azhar World Center for Electronic Fatwa and learned about the center’s departments and operating units, and were briefed on its work mechanism and various efforts. The two-day visit, supervised by Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director of the General Administration of Youth Care, and implemented by the Student Unions and Families Administration, included a public lecture on the controls of freedom between understanding and application and the wrong practices of freedom (atheism, addiction, suicide), a workshop that discussed the challenges facing the family and society (materialism, individualism, dilution of values ??and morals), mechanisms for understanding religious texts and their impact on (extremism, terrorism, illegal immigration), and a workshop on social media and its impact on the individual and society (rumors and electronic blackmail), which was implemented in the halls and corridors of Al-Azhar Mosque.
