"Your Mental Health in the Digital Age" Symposium at the Faculty of Education, Beni Suef University

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Education organized a symposium entitled "Your Mental Health in the Digital Age." The symposium was supervised by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Environment and Community Service Affairs, Dr. Osama Mahmoud Korni, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahnasawy, Vice Dean for Environment and Community Service Affairs. Dr. Yasmine Salah, Lecturer of Mental Health and Student Activities Coordinator, also attended the symposium.
The university president emphasized the importance of the symposium's topic, which comes within the framework of national responsibility and aims to raise awareness and build a psychologically healthy society. He emphasized that mental health has become a significant issue that requires attention due to the significant changes in lifestyles resulting from technological developments. He noted that the symposium shed light on the psychological challenges facing people in light of the excessive use of social media, and emphasized the need to achieve a healthy balance between benefiting from technology and maintaining our psychological health.
Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud pointed out that we have a great responsibility to support our own mental health and the mental health of others. We must lead by example and demonstrate that talking about mental health is not a shame, but rather a strength. Let us encourage each other to share our experiences and open our hearts to help, as each of us can be a source of support for others.
Dr. Osama Mahmoud Korni emphasized that our love for our country drives us to work toward a society that values ??mental health as an integral part of human vitality. Let us use technology to spread awareness and provide resources and support, and together we will create a safe and healthy environment where students and faculty can feel comfortable expressing their feelings.
