A cooperation protocol between the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Beni Suef University, and the Basateen Foundation for Community Development.

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants signed a cooperation protocol with Basateen Foundation for Community Development (Dotra Group of Companies), under the supervision of Dr. Adel Mohamed Gouda, Dean of the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research, Dr. Sherif Hassan, Vice Dean of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Mohamed Zaki, Vice Dean of the Institute for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The protocol aims to cooperate in a number of fields that serve the research and educational process by training a number of graduates of faculties of agriculture and agricultural secondary schools within the institute and qualifying them for the labor market. This within the framework of interest in the production and export of medicinal and aromatic plants due to the high competitive value of Beni Suef Governorate in this field. In addition to organizing a job forum for companies working in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants with graduates, especially the distinguished ones among them who received training according to this protocol. The protocol also aims to provide a number of scholarships to study for master's and doctoral degrees at the institute, provided that they include solutions to the problems facing the sector of production and export of medicinal and aromatic plants in the governorate.
