Petroleum Geology and Mining students from Beni Suef National University on a scientific field visit to Abu Rawash and Qubbat al-Hasana.

Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, Beni Suef National University organized a scientific field visit for students of the Petroleum Geology and Mining Program to Abu Rawash and Qubbet El-Hasna in Giza Governorate. The visit was supervised by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Mamtaz Mohamed Hegab, Dean of the Engineering, Basic and Applied Sciences Sector, and Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Mustafa, Program Director, with the participation of a number of faculty members from the Geology Department at the Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized that the aim of organizing these visits is to link theoretical study with practical application, honing students' skills and developing their ability to understand geological reality. This will enhance their opportunities in the job market, particularly in the petroleum and mining fields, in addition to developing the university education system through practical experience and direct interaction between nature and the geological environment.
This visit comes as part of the curriculum's plan, which aims to develop students' observation and analytical skills, provide them with field experience that supports their academic studies, and provide them with realistic scientific tools to understand the geological formations and natural structures relevant to their specialization.
