President of Beni-Suef University Chairs Meetings of Languages and Specialized Translation Center and Faculty Development Center

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, chaired today the meetings of the Center for Languages and Specialized Translation and the Faculty and Leadership Development Center. The meetings were attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fatma Ashour, Executive Director of the Languages and Specialized Translation Center, Dr. Gomaa Said Tehami, Director of the Faculty Development Center, and members of both boards.

During the meeting of the Languages and Specialized Translation Center, the accomplishments of the past period were reviewed. These included conducting the 150th academic English proficiency test, attended by 166 researchers at the exam hall of the Faculty of Medicine, translating 35 documents from Arabic to English, 14 from English to Arabic, and one document from Arabic to German. The translated documents included graduation certificates, academic transcripts, enrollment verifications, and other official records.

The meeting of the Faculty Development Center discussed enabling faculty members and teaching assistants appointed at private institutes accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities to attend online training courses offered by the center. The meeting also addressed the formation of a committee to review and update the content of the new training programs.
