President of Beni Suef University Inaugurates Phase One of the Faculty of Science and the General Site of the Faculty of Engineering in East Nile Campus

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today the first phase of the Faculty of Science and the general site of the Faculty of Engineering at the East Nile campus. The event was attended by Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Gawad, Dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences; Dr. Wael Hazeen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science; and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University.
The University President explained that the first phase of the Faculty of Science—Buildings 1 and 2—included eight air-conditioned lecture halls, each with a capacity of 250 students. The halls are equipped with the latest technological systems to serve faculty members and students, including advanced sound systems and civil defense installations, all meeting international standards and specifications.
Dr. Hassan also received a detailed briefing on upcoming phases of development for the Faculty of Science, the general site layout, and the infrastructure of the 330-acre campus. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the approved timeline for project completion and urged acceleration of the remaining phases. After inspecting the progress of the ongoing works, he highlighted the need for building specifications that align with functional requirements and issued several observations. He also stressed full compliance with all safety and civil defense regulations.
