Beni-Suef University Organizes First Aid Course for National Education Program Students in Collaboration with Military Education and the Faculty of Nursing

Under the patronage of Professor Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing, in cooperation with the Military Education Department, organized a first aid training session for female students enrolled in the National Education Program. The initiative was supervised by Professor Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department; and coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel Taha Matar.

During the session, participants received practical and theoretical instruction on essential life-saving techniques, aimed at equipping them with the skills to respond effectively and calmly in emergency situations. Topics included managing cardiac arrest, sudden airway obstruction, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound care, bleeding control, burn treatment, fractures, and other common medical emergencies.

Professor Mansour Hassan emphasized the importance of such training programs in raising awareness of basic first aid principles, which can play a critical role in saving lives and enhancing students’ ability to act with confidence and composure during unexpected incidents.
