Launch of the Second Annual Exhibition for Innovative Projects at the Faculty of Technology and Education – Beni-Suef University

The second annual exhibition for innovative projects, organized by the Faculty of Technology and Education at Beni-Suef University, was officially launched today under the patronage of Professor Mansour Hassan, President of the University. The exhibition showcases around 50 innovative projects and has attracted a wide audience of visitors interested in innovation, science, and research across various fields, along with a large number of young scientists from universities and private institutes, as well as entrepreneurs and industry leaders. The event is held under the supervision of Professor Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty, with the presence of Professor Mohamed Naguib El-Sheikh, Professor of Production and Design Engineering and former Vice President of the University, along with faculty vice deans and teaching staff.

Professor Mansour Hassan explained that the exhibition aims to highlight the vital role of innovation in economic development and to open new horizons for small and medium-sized enterprises based on scientific innovation. It serves as a platform that brings together scientists, inventors, business leaders, and representatives of both public and private companies across Egypt, as well as patent holders, all in one place. The goal is to foster communication among stakeholders in science and innovation, enabling them to explore valuable opportunities and gain exposure to diverse creative activities.

He emphasized that the exhibition aligns with the national strategy to support and nurture young innovators, and to establish a systematic and scientific approach for leveraging their ideas in addressing urgent challenges and contributing to the national economy.

During his opening remarks, Professor Abu El-Hassan stressed that the future and progress of any nation fundamentally rely on the energy and creativity of its youth. He highlighted the massive leap in information technology over the past decade, which has transformed the world into a closely connected global village, and praised the exceptional quality of inventions and innovations featured in the exhibition.

In her speech, Professor Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty, extended her thanks to Professor Mansour Hassan for his continuous support of students and scientific research initiatives. She affirmed that the faculty is committed to providing the necessary support for promising and scientifically sound innovative projects with economic potential, ensuring that the exhibition reflects the distinguished reputation of Beni-Suef University.

Following the opening remarks, attendees toured the exhibition, which featured a wide array of inventions and innovations across critical fields such as energy, sustainability, recycling, healthcare, agriculture, water, and industry—showcasing the ingenuity and potential of Egypt’s emerging scientific minds.
