Beni Suef University and the Popular and Military Defense Forces Launch a Blood Donation Campaign

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, Beni Suef
University launched a blood donation campaign in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces, with the participation of students of the Military and National Education Course. The campaign was supervised by Colonel Khaled Nabil El-Shenawy, Director of the Military Education Department at the University, and Lieutenant Colonel Taha Salah Matar, Deputy Director of the Military Education Department. The campaign aims to support the needs of university hospitals and specialized medical centers for blood bags, contributing to saving the lives of patients and alleviating their suffering.
Dr. Tariq Ali emphasized that community work is one of the most important pillars upon which the university's mission is based, adding, "Every drop of blood we donate today is a life given, and a message of loyalty and belonging to a nation that deserves our unlimited giving."
The Acting President of the University praised the large turnout and excellent organization of the campaign, stressing continued cooperation with state institutions, particularly the Armed Forces, to instill a culture of giving and active citizenship and encourage students to participate in humanitarian initiatives.
It's worth noting that 80 male and female students from various colleges across the university participated in the campaign, where they underwent initial tests to measure their hemoglobin levels, pH levels, and weight to ensure their safety before donating.
