President of Beni-Suef University Chairs a Series of Meetings

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, chaired meetings of the Higher Committee of the Software Design and Development Unit, the Higher Committee of the Higher Education Development Projects Management Unit, and the University Facilities Committee. The meetings were attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Director of the Higher Education Development Projects Unit, along with board members.

During the Software Committee meeting, the progress achieved in the first phase of the project *(the electronic system for student housing applications at Beni-Suef University)* was reviewed, along with discussions on the next steps for the project.

The Higher Education Development Projects Unit meeting addressed the proposal submitted by the Executive Director of Projects to implement the financial regulations of the unit, in addition to following up on fiber-optic cable installations at the 320-feddan complex.

As for the University Facilities Committee, discussions focused on all files related to university buildings and facilities on both the east and west banks of the Nile in preparation for the new academic year. The review also included ensuring that buildings meet occupational safety and health standards, such as fire alarms, extinguishers, water tanks, and other requirements. The committee further monitored the progress of constructing the Faculty of Science in East Nile and the completion of infrastructure works at the 320-feddan campus.
