Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, inaugurated today the 10th methodological camp for fourth-year students at the Faculty of Social Work, in the presence of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service, Dr. Hendawy Abdallah, Dean of the Faculty, and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University.
The university president explained that the camp is a comprehensive educational and training experience designed to refine students’ skills and strengthen their sense of cooperation and belonging before graduation and entering the labor market. He pointed out that the camp is part of the mandatory curriculum, reflecting its importance in shaping students’ professional and social character.
He added that the camp is distinguished by the diversity of its activities, which include sports, artistic, and literary aspects. Group and individual competitions are organized to enhance physical fitness and team spirit, alongside artistic workshops that unleash creativity.
In a humanitarian gesture reflecting a spirit of responsibility, the university president met with a female student suffering from a heart condition, listened attentively to her, and checked on her health and academic situation. He directed that all necessary support—medical, psychological, and academic—be provided to ensure her comfort and well-being.
