The President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the fourth scientific conference of the Rheumatology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of a group of senior professors.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, today inaugurated the 4th Scientific Conference of the Rheumatology Department, in the presence of Major General Dr. Mohamed Reda Awad, former President of the Egyptian Society of Rheumatology and Professor of Rheumatology at Al-Azhar University, and Dr. Mervat Ismail, Head of the Rheumatology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, amidst a large attendance of rheumatology professors from various Egyptian universities.

The university president explained that the conference comes within the framework of the university's commitment to supporting scientific research and exchanging expertise in specialized medical fields. The conference will address a range of vital topics that reflect recent developments in the treatment of rheumatic and immunological diseases. The conference will also discuss the latest therapeutic and rehabilitation methods using artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the challenges associated with osteoarthritis and gout.

He added that the conference represents a unique scientific opportunity for experts to exchange insights and enhance cooperation between Egyptian universities in the field of medical  research and development, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients and keeping pace with global progress in this delicate specialty.
