Beni Suef University President: ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification Renewed for the Ninth Consecutive Year

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the successful renewal of the university’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification for the ninth consecutive year, reflecting high efficiency and commitment. The university received the periodic review committee from the ISO certification body, headed by Eng. Mamdouh Fathy, Chief Auditor of the company, in the presence of Dr. Heba Atef El-Shimy, Director of the Quality Assurance Center, Mr. Mohamed Selim, University Secretary General, Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center, along with directors of departments and quality officers.

The president praised the significant efforts of the Quality Assurance Center in continuously monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating the system, which contributed to maintaining the university’s ISO certification for the ninth year. This was achieved in coordination with department directors and quality officers across various university sectors. The committee reviewed the system’s implementation procedures and quality files in the university’s administrative departments in accordance with international standard requirements, based on recommendations from the external review committee, which completed a thorough examination of the required documents and files over two days.

Dr. Heba Atef El-Shimy emphasized the importance of adhering to quality and accreditation standards across all faculties, centers, and departments to ensure the improvement of services, enhance the quality of the educational process, enable the university to achieve national and international accreditation, strengthen its position in global rankings, and attract more international students.
