Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University received approximately 2,880 cases during the month of December, affirming that this turnout reflects the great confidence in the level of medical services provided by the University to the local community and its effective role in delivering distinguished healthcare to the residents of Beni Suef Governorate and neighboring governorates.
Dr. Tarek explained that the University attaches special importance to the healthcare services sector and continues to develop its medical facilities and enhance the efficiency of its affiliated clinics and treatment centers by supporting medical staff and equipping them with the latest devices and modern technologies. This ensures the provision of high-quality therapeutic and educational services that meet the needs of both patients and students alike. He also pointed out the University’s ongoing efforts to advance the healthcare system in line with its vision of supporting the medical sector in the governorate and providing advanced and integrated services.
In the same context, Dr. Ahmed Fathallah, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, stated that the clinics witnessed remarkable activity during the same period. The number of diagnostic cases reached 1,149, gum treatment cases totaled 107, oral disease cases numbered 20, and oral surgery cases reached 166. Pediatric dental clinics also received 492 cases, for which 299 treatment procedures were carried out, in addition to 310 filling cases and 460 various therapeutic procedures.
Moreover, 317 fixed prosthodontic cases were recorded, including 27 surgical procedures, and 97 removable prosthodontic cases with 103 treatment procedures. Additionally, 501 radiology cases and 38 orthodontic cases, including 13 treatment procedures, were registered, reflecting the volume of effort exerted within the clinics and the level of healthcare services provided by the Faculty in serving the community.
