Beni Suef University Council Approves the Formation of a Committee for the ‘Best Leading Faculty’ Competition in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

The Beni Suef University Council, chaired by Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, approved at its 253rd session the formation of a committee for the competition evaluating the “Best Leading Faculty” in achieving sustainable development goals. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, as well as faculty deans and council members.
The University President explained that this competition represents a strategic step to foster a spirit of positive competition among faculties in localizing sustainable development goals, ensuring that the university’s plans align with Egypt’s Vision 2030 in addressing environmental and societal challenges. Dr. Tarek Ali added that the committee will develop precise evaluation criteria covering all aspects of academic and administrative work, emphasizing that the ultimate goal is to create a sustainable university environment that effectively contributes to building the national economy and providing tangible solutions to serve the surrounding community.
