Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, chaired the meeting of the Council of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Ragai, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, Former Vice President of the University; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University; and a number of the Council members.
During the meeting, the President discussed several important issues related to education and student affairs, emphasizing the importance of developing the educational process in line with the latest academic standards, and the necessity of supporting student and sports activities within the Faculty.
He also reviewed the plan to complete the new sports facilities, stressing the importance of periodic maintenance of the existing facilities to ensure their sustainability and optimal efficiency. In addition, he discussed ways to maximize the utilization of the Olympic swimming pool and other sports facilities in a manner that serves the educational and training processes and contributes to supporting sports activities.
The meeting further addressed a review of the “Sports Technology” program at the National (Private) University, which aims to prepare qualified cadres in the fields of modern technologies related to sports, thereby enhancing graduates’ opportunities in the labor market and keeping pace with global developments in this field.
In concluding the meeting, Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized the importance of integration among the various faculties and activating cooperation between the National (Private) University and the public university to achieve maximum benefit from the available resources and to present a distinguished educational model worthy of the name of Beni-Suef University.
