Beni Suef University Announces Student Arwa Ali Othman’s Advancement to the “Ibda’a 14” Festival Finals in the “Ideal Student” Competition

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the qualification of the student Arwa Ali Othman, enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, to the final rounds of the “Ibda’a 14” Festival for University Youth in the category of “Ideal Male and Female Student.” The festival is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports. This comes under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare.

Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, stated that the qualification of a student from the Faculty of Medicine to the final stage of the Ideal Student competition reflects the level of culture, awareness, academic excellence, and extracurricular activity among the university’s students. He emphasized that the festival represents a vital platform for highlighting outstanding student role models and promoting the values of diligence and national awareness. He expressed his pride in the student’s representation of the university at this important event, wishing her success in the final judging stage scheduled to be held in February 2026.

For his part, Dr. Hamada Mohamed expressed his happiness with this honorable qualification, noting that the university places great importance on social activities and the discovery of distinguished student talents. He explained that the students underwent precise tests and high evaluation standards that qualified them to compete strongly for top positions, praising the efforts exerted by the Social Activity Administration to achieve this level of readiness.

In the same context, Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, affirmed that the administration provides all the necessary facilities and support for the participating students. He also commended the role of the Social Activity Administration in following up and preparing the students in a manner befitting the name of Beni Suef University, to ensure achieving advanced positions and winning awards in the festival’s final stage.
