The President of Beni Suef University chairs the meetings of "Languages ??and Translation Center", "International Students Administration", and "Faculty Members Center"

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired today the meetings of the Languages ??and Translation Center, the Higher Committee for International Students, and the Higher Committee for Faculty and Supporting Staff Affairs. This was in the presence of Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Director of the Languages ??and Translation Center, Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Executive Director of the Higher Committee for International Students, and members of the Boards of Directors.
During the meeting of the Languages ??and Translation Center, the center reviewed its accomplishments over the past period, including the administration of the 158th English language proficiency test in the examination hall of the Faculty of Medicine. The meeting also discussed the center's efforts in translating a number of official documents over the past two months, including graduation certificates, transcripts, and enrollment documents. The number of translated documents reached 43 in December and 13 so far in January.
The meeting also discussed the Center's Board of Directors' proposal to offer two pathways for passing the academic English language proficiency test, aiming to ensure researchers achieve the required language level. The first pathway involves taking the academic test directly without enrolling in a preparatory course, while the second pathway requires enrollment in a preparatory course before taking the test. The final score is calculated out of a total of 667 points, with the preparatory course accounting for 30% (200 points) and the academic test accounting for 70% (467 points). The preparatory course will be mandatory for researchers who fail the test on their first or second attempt, after which they will be free to choose the pathway that best suits their requirements.
During the meeting of the Supreme Committee for International Student Administration , Dr. Tariq Ali stressed the importance of quickly delivering City Club membership cards to international students, in addition to medical insurance cards, within the framework of activating student services included in the expenses, and in coordination with the Central Administration for International Student Affairs.
During the meeting of the Higher Committee for Faculty and Assistant Staff Affairs, the mechanisms and criteria for transferring and assigning faculty members from inside and outside the university were discussed in accordance with the laws and regulations in place.
