The President of Beni Suef University receives Professor "Chen-Ren" from the University of Hong Kong to discuss ways of academic cooperation.

Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, received Professor Chen-Ren, Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as part of efforts to support international partnerships and enhance scientific and academic cooperation with prestigious international universities. Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, was also present.

During the meeting, Dr. Tarek Ali welcomed Professor Chen-Ren, emphasizing Beni Suef University's commitment to engaging with international expertise and exchanging knowledge. This, he explained, contributes to enhancing the educational and research process and strengthening the university's regional and international rankings. Discussions focused on potential collaboration in scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, and leveraging advanced academic and technological expertise. The possibility of providing master's and doctoral scholarships for researchers was also explored, along with the implementation of a distinguished inter-university program. This program would involve two years of study at Beni Suef University and two years at the University of Hong Kong, culminating in a joint degree accredited by both institutions.

For his part, Professor Chen-Ren expressed his delight at this visit, praising the academic and research capabilities of the university, and emphasizing his aspiration to expand the horizons of joint cooperation in a way that serves the academic interests of both sides.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Tariq Ali presented the university's shield to the professor, emphasizing the importance of sustaining communication between the two institutions and establishing implementation mechanisms to activate the proposed areas of cooperation during the next phase.
