Beni Suef University is implementing a package of specialized training programs to support the scientific research and innovation system and raise the efficiency of international publishing.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the University Performance Development Center has launched a comprehensive package of specialized training courses across the university's various faculties. These programs aim to support scientific research and innovation, develop the skills of researchers and students, and enhance the quality of international publications. The courses are being conducted under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Executive Director of the University Performance Development Center, and with the follow-up of Dr. Fatima Hanafi, Head of the Training and Conferences Office, and with the active participation and coordination of the deans of the faculties and directors of specialized offices.
The university president affirmed that this step comes within the university’s strategic vision to promote the culture of intellectual property and the ethics of scientific research, noting that the series began by enhancing the digital presence of researchers through the two courses “Building the Research Identity of Researchers: Tools and Foundations” and “Building the Digital Identity and Launching into International Publishing,” which were implemented in the faculties of Physical Therapy and Social Development Service under the supervision of Dr. Yasser Jaber, the scientific advisor to the university president.
In the context of supporting institutional development, Dr. Tariq Ali explained that the "Professional Development and Administrative Growth" series was organized to raise the efficiency of administrators in the postgraduate studies sector, and included: a lecture on "Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Daily Tasks" presented by Dr. Yasser Gaber, a course on "Psychological Capital and its Impact on Enhancing Personal and Professional Performance" presented by Mr. Ismail Salim, Deputy Director of the Professional Development Center, a course on "Excel Skills" by Dr. Shaimaa Nabil, and a course on "Managing Stress in the Workplace" by Dr. Asmaa Abdel Moneim, at the Faculty of Arts.
As part of preparing students and researchers for global competition, Dr. Shaimaa Nabil, Director of the Office for Scholarship Affairs, presented a course on "Available Scholarships and Grants" at the Faculties of Tourism and Hotels, Nursing, and Applied Health Sciences Technology. Dr. Karim Abdel Qader, Director of the Innovation Support Office, reviewed procedures for protecting innovations in a course on "Intellectual Property and Patents" at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mohamed El-Farran, Advisor to the University President for Innovation, discussed how to evaluate research outputs in a course on "Technological Readiness Level (TRL)" at the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Engineering.
The university president explained that the events included intensive activity by the International Publishing Office, under the supervision of Dr. Yasser Faleh, who presented a course on "International Publishing in Medical Fields: The Path to Academic Excellence" at the Faculties of Health Sciences Technology and Physical Therapy. In the area of ??ethics, Dr. Fatima Hanafi, Secretary of the Higher Committee for Research Ethics, presented two courses: "Ethics of Animal Use in Scientific Research" at the Faculty of Agriculture, and "Mechanisms for Activating Research Ethics Committees" at the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences. Dr. Sherif Ragab Al-Arayed, Director of the Office for Supporting and Funding Research Projects, also organized a series of training courses for young researchers, including a course on "How to Prepare Competitive Research Projects" at the Faculty of Agriculture, to enhance their ability to compete for local and international funding.
