The faculty of Social Service in Beni Suef organizes an awareness seminar on "The role of population awareness in the stability of the Egyptian family"

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Social Work and Development organized an awareness seminar entitled "The Role of Population Awareness in the Stability of the Egyptian Family." This seminar reflects the university's commitment to raising national awareness among students and activating its role in serving the community. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, with executive follow-up from Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service, and Ms. Ikram Ahmed Mustafa, Director of the Family Counseling Unit. The seminar featured a lecture by Ms. Naglaa Mohamed El-Sawy, Director of the National Population Council, and was attended by a number of faculty members and students.

Dr. Tariq Ali, the university president, stressed that academic institutions have a pivotal role in addressing population challenges, noting that the symposium aimed to spread a culture of population awareness and demonstrate its direct impact on achieving family stability, explaining the close relationship between family planning and improving the quality of life for the individual and society.

For his part, Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi explained that the symposium aimed to promote the concepts of family planning based on shared responsibility and to highlight the role of community institutions in supporting population issues and linking them to the Sustainable Development Goals of "Egypt Vision 2030." He also thanked the organizers of the symposium, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness among university students and empowering them to participate positively in addressing population challenges, thus contributing to building a more cohesive and stable Egyptian family.
