The President of Beni Suef University receives the Governor to participate in the University Council meeting

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, received today Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz Abdel Rahman, the new governor, to participate in the 255th meeting of the University Council, in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the colleges, and members of the council.

During the meeting, the university president expressed the university’s readiness for full cooperation with the governorate in various fields, in order to contribute to achieving sustainable development and raising the level of services provided to citizens, stressing that the coming period will witness more cooperation and the achievement of more development in various fields for the benefit of the citizens of Suwaif.

For his part, the governor stressed the importance of cooperation between the university and the governorate in serving the issues of society through a joint vision and action plan to contribute to the development of the governorate, expressing his pride in the great role of the university and the importance of utilizing its research and academic staff in all fields, considering it a pivotal partner in advancing the local community.

The council approved the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector’s plan to hold a series of seminars and workshops during the month of February, stressing the importance of periodic seminars and workshops in promoting interaction between students, faculty members and experts from outside the university. They provide important opportunities for knowledge exchange and keeping up with scientific and technological developments in various disciplines. They also contribute to honing students’ critical thinking and research skills and expanding their professional horizons. In addition, they encourage a spirit of innovation and teamwork, which enhances graduates’ readiness for the labor market and contributes to building a vibrant and knowledge-based university community.

Dr. Tariq Ali also presented the university’s shield to Major General Abdullah Abdul Aziz in appreciation of the governorate’s role in supporting the university’s progress and enhancing joint cooperation between the university and the governorate, and the fruitful partnership that contributes to serving the community and developing the environment.
