The Council of Beni Suef University approves holding a series of seminars, workshops, and community activities in various faculties and institutes of the university.

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of the University, approved in its session No. (255) the holding of a series of seminars, workshops and community activities in the various colleges and institutes of the university. This came in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the colleges, and members of the Council.

The university president explained that five diverse seminars will be held. The College of Nursing will host a seminar on the effects of rising temperatures, organized by the Department of Community Health. The Institute of Laser Research and Applications will hold specialized scientific workshops covering topics such as the preparation of nanoparticles using pulsed lasers in liquids, the ultra-high-resolution detection of nanoparticles derived from cancer cells, and the study of the effects of lasers on biological samples. The College of Arts will host a seminar on Japanese thought regarding self-management and shaping the future, while the Colleges of Media and Sports Science will organize religious seminars to promote spiritual and moral values in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

Dr. Tarek Ali noted that the university places particular emphasis on practical and training aspects. The Faculty of Applied Arts will hold a workshop on recycling environmental materials in the Dome Hall, and the Faculty of Arts will organize a specialized training course in psychological counseling and dealing with the elderly, targeting staff from outside the faculty. He added that the activities also include administrative and motivational aspects, such as the "Ideal Employee" competition at the Faculty of Agriculture and a large-scale tree-planting initiative at the Faculty of Mass Communication to plant 50 trees in the faculty's gardens.

The university president emphasized the academic institution’s openness to the outside community and scientific research, noting that the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research organized a visit for students of Dr. Ahmed Zewail Official Languages School, and that the College of Nursing held a scientific conference for the Department of Surgical Nursing on digital technology and patient safety, in addition to a book fair in cooperation with Noon Medical Library.

In a related context, Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized the importance of the university's social role, particularly during religious and national occasions, noting that the Faculty of Social Work is celebrating the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory. He also announced the organization of group Ramadan iftars for faculty members and staff from the Faculties of Arts, Nursing, and Agriculture. Furthermore, the Faculty of Mass Communication is conducting an analytical study to examine the portrayal of women in dramatic works, reflecting the university's role in analyzing contemporary social issues.
