The Council of Beni Suef University reviews the results of activities implemented, including seminars, workshops, and field visits to various faculties and institutes of the university.

The Council of Beni Suef University, chaired by Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, reviewed in its 255th session a package of activities and events that were implemented in the various faculties and institutes of the university during the last week of January 2026. This took place in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the faculties, and members of the council.
The university president explained that the activities included seven diverse seminars. The Faculty of Arts held five seminars covering topics such as welcoming the month of Ramadan, the virtues of good deeds, preparing for scholarships and grants, digital rhetoric and artificial intelligence, and the application of conflicting rules theory in social research. The Faculty of Applied Arts held a seminar on design and sustainable environment, while the Faculty of Nursing organized a seminar for International Children's Day and another for World Cancer Day. He added that the events also included three workshops in the fields of library and archive management at the Faculty of Arts, and in the diagnosis of parasitic diseases and endoscopic surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, as well as two training courses in clinical skills and medical ethics at the same faculty.
Dr. Tarek Ali noted that the university has been very active in organizing field visits, including the Medicinal Plants Research Institute hosting a delegation from Fayoum University, and the Faculty of Computers visiting the Cabinet's Decision Support Center and the Future of Egypt Authority. Students from the Faculty of Agriculture also visited the Al-Fayrouz Fish Farm in Port Said, while the Faculty of Technology and Education organized a scientific trip to the Armed Forces' cement factory complex and the Cairo International Book Fair. The Faculty of Nursing also participated in a visit to the Regional Blood Bank.
The university president emphasized the colleges' success in organizing high-quality competitions, exhibitions, and celebrations. The Faculty of Arts honored the winners of its photography competition, organized a Quran recitation competition, and held a celebration marking 25 years since the establishment of the Psychology Department, along with the opening of a book fair. The Faculty of Applied Arts held an art exhibition showcasing student work, while the Faculty of Navigation Sciences celebrated the sighting of the Ramadan crescent moon in coordination with Dar al-Ifta (the Egyptian Fatwa Authority). The Faculty of Technology and Education honored its outstanding staff members, and the Faculty of Nursing celebrated the Night of Mid-Sha'ban.
Dr. Tariq Ali stressed the continuation of the university’s community and development role. He also praised the initiatives of the Faculty of Computers in securing the halls with surveillance cameras and distributing food supplies in preparation for the month of Ramadan, in addition to the efforts of the Faculty of Arts in honoring outstanding students and organizing meetings with the Creativity Center about research projects, stressing that these activities reflect the vitality of the university and its continuous interaction with community issues and scientific research.
