President of Beni Suef University inaugurates activities of the first Sports Day for students with special needs

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today the activities of the first Sports Day for students with special needs, organized by the Disability Challengers Unit in cooperation with the College of Physical Education, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Heba Abu Al-Nil, Dean of the College of Special Needs Science, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Farouk, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, former vice president of the university, and a group of faculty members and students, in light of following all precautionary measures.


For his part, Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the celebration was in conjunction with the celebrations that the world is witnessing during March and April, which include the International Day of Down Syndrome, awareness of autism and the Arab Deaf Week, to inform society of the rights of people with special needs that must be guaranteed to them, and to empower people with special needs in order to build human beings to serve the comprehensive and sustainable development.


It is worth noting that Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan honored the students participated in the celebration, while Prof. Dr. Tariq Farouk presented the college’s shield to Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan for his constant and continuous support.
