Beni Suef Computers science faculty organizes a training workshop entitled "The Digital Future Generation" for high school students in the governorate.

The Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, organized An intensive training workshop titled "The Digital Future Generation" 
 which was held for high school students, under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and Dr. Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Ahmed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development. The workshop aimed to promote digital literacy among high school students and introduce them to the latest developments in computer science and artificial intelligence, thus contributing to the preparation of a generation qualified and capable of keeping pace with future technological advancements

Dr. Tariq Ali affirmed that organizing these training workshops comes within the university administration’s keenness to enhance students’ scientific and digital thinking skills and use artificial intelligence, and to build an integrated digital awareness among them, which contributes to preparing a generation capable of competing in modern technological fields, and supporting the state’s direction towards digital transformation and building a knowledge society, as part of the university’s community role

Dr. Mohamed Qaid explained that the college welcomed students from Alia Mohamed Tawfiq Secondary School for Girls and Al-Diwan Secondary School. The workshop began with a comprehensive introduction to the world of computers, its various fields, and its applications in daily life and work. It also highlighted the importance of digital skills and computational thinking as a foundation for success in various disciplines. The workshop further addressed programming concepts in a simplified manner, explained the digital transformation in the job market, and presented a practical overview of artificial intelligence

As a tool for learning, organizing ideas and producing content, it also included an explanation of hardware and basic software such as Word and PowerPoint, and concluded with a practical session using artificial intelligence tools to enhance students’ problem-solving skills and prepare them for future specializations

At the conclusion of the workshop, students were awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their active involvement, as part of the college's support for training and awareness activities that contribute to developing students' skills and building their technological awareness
