President of Beni Suef University Congratulates Dr. Ayman Ghoneim on Leading Egypt’s Women’s Foil Team to Gold at the African Fencing Championships in Côte d’Ivoire

Professor Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, extended his congratulations to Professor Ayman Ghoneim, Head of the Department of Fencing and Individual Sports at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Director of the Egyptian National Fencing Teams. His outstanding coaching efforts contributed to the Egyptian Women’s Foil Team winning the gold medal in the team event at the African Fencing Championships held in Côte d’Ivoire. This achievement demonstrates that the university’s distinguished staff members are a driving force behind developing champions and raising Egypt’s profile in international sporting arenas.
This accomplishment was achieved under the supervision and attendance of prominent sports leaders from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Egyptian Fencing Federation, who praised the exceptional role and professional training programs implemented by the Beni Suef University coach.
Professor Tarek Ali emphasized that supporting athletic talent strengthens the path of excellence for students at Egyptian universities. For his part, Professor Ayman Ghoneim, Head Coach of the national team, expressed his great pride and happiness with this remarkable achievement.
