Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that 8 university scientists have obtained eight centers in 7 scientific fields, according to the Stanford University study of the best 2% of scientists globally for the year 2020
Dr. Mansour explained that the university has achieved an achievement in international classifications, as the study relies on the database
which established by Stanford University and includes the top 2% of scientists in the world from various fields on the basis of unified citation indicators which includes information on the number of citations, the h parameter and co-authoring, The results were recently published in PLOS Biology and categorized into 22 scientific domains and 176 subdomains
The president of the university praised the new achievement which achieved by the university and its progress in international classifications, and congratulated all faculty members, scientists and researchers at the university for obtaining this classification, which reflects the extent of the effort made in the recent period in the field of upgrading scientific research at the university and increasing the number of published research in international fields, in addition to Supporting researchers with all necessary capabilities to increase the number of research and international participation to achieve advanced centers with international classifications in various disciplines
Dr. Mansour Hassan congratulated the scientists from the university, whose names appeared in the list of the best 2% of the world's scientists, wishing them success and further progress during their scientific career
It is worth noting that the scientists are Dr. Ayman Moawad Mahmoud, Muhammad Shaaban, Arfa Hussein, Ali Al-Bahrawi, and Hussein Sayed, all of whom are faculty members of the College of Science, Dr. Hussam Zawbaa at the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Khaled Abdel-Latif, Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, two faculty members of the College of Pharmacy
