A research team at Beni Suef University obtains a patent in the field of nanomaterials technology

Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that a research team at the Graduate School of Advanced Sciences obtained a patent from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of the Ministry of Higher Education, in the field of nanomaterials technology.
This came while he chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the University Performance Development Center in the presence of Dr. Fatima Hassan, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, Director of the Center, and members of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Mansour explained that the patent is entitled “Quick and large-scale purification of closed graphene oxide nanoflakes and other suspensions using a system containing subsurface fiber filters.” The research team that received the patent includes pharmacist Ali Taha Ali, Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Khader, Dr. Ahmed Ali Farghali, Dr. Samaa El-Daq and Dr. Walid Mohamed Al-Rubi and Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed El-Sherbiny.
This is within the framework of encouraging researchers and faculty members by providing material and technical support at the Innovation and Intellectual Property Support Center (TISC) of the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Office.
In another context, the meeting discussed coordination mechanisms between the Office of Linking Research with Industry and other consulting units and centers, and development proposals for the Office of Laboratories and Equipment. The meeting also agreed to open the door for progress to reward the international publication of research in 2020.
