The Beni Suef University Council approves the launch of the Red Crescent simulation model at the Faculty of Medicine

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, agreed, in its 203rd session, to launch a simulation model of the Red Crescent for students of the Faculty of Human Medicine, which aims to train, educate and rehabilitate students on how to deal with emergency situations and confront crises and disasters, this came in the presence of the university’s vice presidents and deans colleges, and council members.
Mansour Hassan, President of the University, explained that the goal is to teach students how to save human lives by training in first aid and dealing with disasters such as fire, floods, earthquakes, and others, in addition to learning life skills, the art of leadership, effective leadership, the art of dealing with others, and psychosocial support. And effective teamwork skills, with the aim of forming a crisis and emergency team in partnership with the Egyptian Red Crescent to conduct training and field participations to provide an opportunity for the distinguished to participate in the Saqr maneuver in cooperation with the Egyptian Armed Forces and the governorate’s executive bodies to cooperate in establishing urgent shelter camps.
Mansour Hassan added that the council also agreed that the union's students raise awareness on campus about the importance of the Corona vaccine and the necessity of vaccination to maintain community health and reduce the risk of infection with the virus.
