President of Beni Suef University: Organizing the first scientific symposium on the problems of translation at the Language Center

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, explained today that the Center for Languages ??and Specialized Translation will organize the center's first scientific symposium on "the problem of translation...the present and the future."
This came during a meeting of the Supervising Committee of the Language and Translation Center, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Shaaban Mubarez, Financial Adviser, Dr. Sherif El-Gayyar, Director of the Center, and members of the Board of Directors.
The university president added that ways of cooperation are being discussed between the university’s Language Center and the National Center for Translation in various aspects of languages ??and translators’ affairs.
And that the joint cooperation will include hiring translators in English, French, German and Chinese specializations, holding joint specialized seminars on translation and its current problems, holding an annual conference on translation, participating in the arbitration of awards offered by the National Center for Translation, holding scientific meetings for some prominent Arab and international translators, and holding translation workshops .
The meeting discussed the report submitted on the Academic English Language Test No. 112, which was held last February, in the presence of 125 researchers, in the context of cooperation between the Graduate Studies and Research Affairs Sector and the Center.
