President of Beni Suef University reviews the achievements of the Language and Translation Center

Today, Prof. Dr/Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, reviewed the achievements of the Translation Language Center during the past period, including holding the academic test No. 13 in the presence of 63 researchers, and French language courses for students of the French Language Department in the Faculties of Arts and Education, in addition to the services provided by the Center to many parties and individuals inside and outside the university, which amounted to 70 translations from January to April
This came while he chaired the meeting of the Language and Translation Center, in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Sherif El-Gayyar, General Coordinator of the Center, and members of the Board of Directors
during the meeting, Dr. Mansour also followed up on the center's preparations to organize its first scientific symposium under the title "The Problems of Translation... Present and the Future" in cooperation with the Faculties of Al-Alsun and Arts, Ain Shams University, in the presence of a group of translation specialists, which will be held on May 8 at the headquarters of the Faculty of Al-Alsun
As part of the center’s plan to raise the level of students in the university’s faculties, the meeting also discussed the latest developments in the establishment of the center’s library after the approval of the head of the Writers Authority and the head of the General Syndicate of the Egyptian Writers Union to support the center with a set of books up to 200 different books and cultural magazines for the center’s students to benefit from it, in addition to laying the foundations for joint cooperation between the center and the Faculty of Law to hold French language courses leading to obtaining a diploma in French Language Studies DELF, for the two divisions of the French and Arabic languages at the faculty, and within the framework of the state’s orientation to teach foreign languages in the administrative sectors, coordination has been made with the Faculty of Al-Alsun to activate the first course of teaching English for administrative leaders at Beni Suef University
