Beni Suef University winning a research project in the field of "Environmental Management" in partnership with a British and private university

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university won the competitive project  that funded by the British Council In the field of environmental management, in partnership with the University of Glasgow in Scotland, the Nile University, and Titan Cement Company as an industrial partner
The university president explained that the project comes within the framework of granting partnership between Egypt and England in the field of education, and in line with the Egyptian state’s approach to confronting climate change, and in line with Egypt’s vision 2030 for sustainable development, pointing out that the project aims in its first stage to prepare a training program in the field of environment  management.  with international standards, and preparing qualified cadres to deal with contemporary environmental challenges, especially climate change Managing water resources and maximizing the utilization of waste by changing the methods of dealing with the environment and consolidating reliance on scientific bases, which reflects positively on education and training in the fields of the environment
For his part, Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science and presenter of the project proposal, indicated that the project will start with a package of training programs in preparation for converting it into professional and academic programs capable of meeting the needs of industry and stakeholders in dealing with the environment and maximizing economic benefit from its resources, pointing out that The project works to enhance the adoption of the field of environmental management on scientific courses in addition to practical experiences, explaining that the first preparatory meeting for the project partners will be in the University of Glasgow, followed by the partners' visit to Beni Suef University
