Beni Suef National University organizes a course on first aid

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, the College of Nursing organized, today, a training course on first aid, under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Daoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Nermin Hassan, Dean of the Medical Sector, and Dr. Al-Sayyid Sabiq, Coordinator of the College of Nursing at the National University, amidst a remarkable presence of male and female students.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university administration is keen to train students and take advantage of the mid-year vacation to learn everything that is useful, especially if it is related to their field of study. Hence the importance of holding a first aid course for students of the College of Nursing to provide them with basic skills by linking the theoretical and practical aspects of their qualification. 

The course dealt with how students deal with cases of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway obstruction, cases of burns, bleeding, fractures, and fainting, in order to provide students with the necessary information and skills that may save a person’s life.
