A delegation from Beni Suef University participates in the family and community awareness program

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the university delegation participated in the activities of the community awareness program in the youth city in Sharm El-Sheikh, within the framework of the “A stable family equals a safe society” initiative, which is organized by The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Coptic Church. Members of the Al-Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa will lecture over three days with the participation of 10 universities, under the supervision of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Dr. Hossam Al-Hawari, General Coordinator of student activities, and Mr. Muhammad Farouk, General Director of the General Administration for Youth Welfare Dr. Mansour explained that the aim of the program is to educate university youth about the most important contemporary societal issues, through lectures, workshops and open dialogues on topics that include belonging and strengthening identity, personal freedom and expression of opinion and the relationship between them, the value of life in Islam and how to confront the feeling of hatred of life, and the value of Time, how to invest it, and controls of using social media
The danger of drugs and their negative impact on the individual and society, and the mechanisms for understanding the religious text and its controls, to spread awareness in order to maintain a safe society and strong generations capable of driving the locomotive of development and progress and finding solutions to reduce the phenomena of domestic violence and crime in society, in light of the spread of false ideas via the Internet and social networking sites. The importance of such courses in fortifying them with moderate thought and encouraging them to continue their academic progress and serve themselves and their country, answer the questions that occupy their minds, and provide them with advice and support
