Medicinal Plants Research Institute at Beni Suef University organizes field visits to plant processing factories and stations

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved in its 235th session the proposal of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute to organize a number of field visits to factories and stations for packaging and preparing medicinal and aromatic plants in Beni Suef and Fayoum Governorates. This was in the presence of university's vice presidents, deans of faculties and council members.

The university president explained that the goal of the field visits is to identify and identify the problems facing manufacturers and exporters  and to help develop appropriate research plans to solve them on scientific bases, within the framework of the university's keenness to support sustainable industrial development plans, and in line with the state's and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's orientations aimed at developing the economic and industrial levels, to raise the rates of benefit from integration between the academic and industrial aspects. He also explained that the university is a house of expertise and seeks to employ its expertise and research to serve civil society.
