Beni Suef University wins first place in the Upper Egypt region in the Egyptian Entrepreneurship League competition

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the winning of  the Circular Farm team from the Faculty of Science students with  first place at the level of 
the North Upper Egypt region  with a prize of 25 thousand pounds in the final of the Egyptian Entrepreneurship League, in the competition that held at Badr University on August 25, under the auspices of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahab Moussa, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the university
For his part, the university president congratulated the winning students on bringing these distinguished ideas to life, stressing the provision of permanent support to the winning team in the competition, noting that this competition is one of the most important competitions supporting university students, entrepreneurs and innovators in Egypt, which aims to develop students' intellectual skills and spread awareness among them about the concepts of entrepreneurship and its importance, and work to find solutions to the challenges facing society and qualify young people for the labor market, establish start-up companies that benefit the Egyptian economy and create job opportunities for young people
Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science, explained that the winning project is in line with the Egyptian state’s policy to confront climate change and discover alternative solutions that are environmentally friendly, as its basic idea is based on producing biofertilizer from agricultural waste by using microalgae as a system that serves the principles of the circular economy
