President of Beni Suef University announces the victory of university students with disabilities with gold and silver medals in the Egyptian Universities Paralympics

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university's students with disabilities won (6) various medals in the activities of the sports meeting for people with disabilities "Egyptian Universities Paralympics", which was held under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, at the Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria, with the participation of 700 male and female students with disabilities, representing 24 Egyptian universities, amidst an atmosphere of inspiring sports competition and wide organizational praise. This came under the supervision of Captain Mohamed Farouk, General Manager of the Youth Care Administration.
Dr. Mansour Hassan congratulated the officials of the Sports Activity Department and the winning students. Student Ahmed Shoaib Sabra won the gold medal in the 100 meters and the gold medal in the long jump, student Ahmed Rady Mohamed won the silver medal in the 100 meters and the silver medal in the long jump, student Sara Ahmed Mahmoud won the silver medal in the 100 meters, student Ahmed Walid Ragab won the silver medal in weightlifting, student David Emad Fawzy won the fourth place in table tennis, and the girls’ bell ball team won the fourth place in the bell ball competition.
The university president expressed his happiness with this new achievement made by the university’s students with disabilities, which reflects the extent of the Egyptian state’s interest in people with disabilities ,the full integration of them into society and enhancing their self-confidence, believing in the capabilities of these heroes and their ability to achieve local and international achievements.
