"Entrepreneurship and Effective Strategies for Freelancing" – Awareness Forum at Beni Suef Faculty of Social Work

The Sustainable Development Unit at the Faculty of Social Work, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, organized an awareness forum on entrepreneurship and effective freelancing strategies. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Hendawy Abdullahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, in collaboration with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) and the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Beni Suef.
The forum featured lectures by:
- Dr. Mohamed Saad Abdel-Razek, Deputy Director of SEDA in Beni Suef
- Dr. Doaa Ramadan Mohamed, Director of Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Coordinator at the Directorate of Youth and Sports
- Dr. Ihab Fawzy Owais, Consultant and Technical Support Expert for Business Projects
The event was attended by the faculty's vice deans, academic staff, researchers, and students.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized the university’s commitment to preparing graduates with the necessary skills and expertise to compete effectively in the job market. The forum aimed to:
- Introduce students to entrepreneurial projects affiliated with SEDA
- Highlight the benefits available to university students through these projects
- Clarify the differences between entrepreneurship and business management
- Promote youth initiatives
The event saw active participation from third-year students, fostering engaging discussions and valuable interactions that contributed to a dynamic and productive atmosphere.
