Faculty of Science at Beni Suef National University Holds Its First Scientific Day for Academic Programs

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, the Faculty of Science organized its first Scientific Day, showcasing its three academic programs: Biochemistry and Microbiology, Petroleum and Mining Geology, and Applied Industrial Chemistry. The event reflects the university’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and encouraging innovation in modern scientific fields.
The day was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Academic Vice President; Dr. Momtaz Hegab, Dean of the Engineering and Basic & Applied Sciences Sector; and Dr. Doaa Hamdy, Head of the Student Affairs Sector. The program directors—Dr. Nabil Abdel-Salam Hassouna, Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Mostafa, and Dr. Abeer Enayatallah Abdel-Fattah—were also present.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized the university’s strong focus on the Faculty of Science, recognizing its critical role in supporting scientific and research progress at both academic and applied levels. He noted that these programs contribute directly to the goals of the Sustainable Development Strategy. He also praised the students’ projects and their high quality, reaffirming the university's commitment to preparing graduates equipped to compete in future job markets.
Dr. Momtaz Hegab stressed the importance of applied scientific projects in serving society, urging students to continue their efforts in research and innovation. He highlighted that all faculty programs are designed to meet the demands of both local and global labor markets.
