Beni Suef University Council Honors Students for Outstanding Achievements in Various Competitions

In its 245th session, the Beni Suef University Council, chaired by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, honored a group of students who achieved top positions in a number of national competitions. The session was attended by Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, faculty deans, council members, and Mr. Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the Youth Welfare Department at the university.

The honored students included those who secured first place in Level One of the 52nd Martyr El-Rifai Championship in football, handball, and kung fu, where the university won 3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 4 bronze. In the weightlifting competition, the university claimed 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal. In boxing, students won 2 bronze medals, and in athletics, the university achieved an impressive 5 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

The university's scouting team also secured first place in the final gathering of scouting training centers among Egyptian universities, held in Alexandria.

In addition, students were honored for their achievements in the final rounds of the 13th "Ebda’a" (Creativity) Competition, where the university earned second place in community initiatives, second place in non-specialized sculpture, third place in specialized short films, and third place in non-specialized theatrical performances.

Dr. Mansour Hassan expressed his pride in the university students’ remarkable accomplishments, commending the efforts of the Youth Welfare Department in guiding and supporting students to excel in various championships. He emphasized the university’s continued commitment to supporting student-athletes across all sports disciplines, ensuring they have the resources and environment needed to excel and bring more victories in the future.
