Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Community Service Sector at the Faculty of Nursing, in collaboration with the Health Insurance Sector in Beni Suef, organized an awareness seminar on the role of nursing in improving the quality of life for patients with fibromyalgia. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hanan El-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, with coordination by Dr. Abeer Shaaban, Director of the Training Unit at the Health Insurance Sector. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Tasneem Ragab Ahmed, Lecturer of Community Health Nursing.

The seminar addressed the definition of fibromyalgia, its causes, risk factors, symptoms, and methods of diagnosis. It also highlighted the critical role of nursing in enhancing patients' quality of life through comprehensive care—covering pain management, promotion of physical activity, and the provision of psychological and educational support.
