The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Beni Suef University organized a grand celebration today to honor Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University This is in appreciation of his efforts during his presidency of the university and his continuous support for scientific and academic development. The ceremony was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. Activities included a documentary film about Dr. Mansour Hassan's achievements and various artistic performances. The event was attended by Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, former Vice President of the university, Dr. Hanan Soliman, member of the Senate, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, professor emeritus at the Faculty of Arts, and a number of deans of faculties and representatives from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Coptic Orthodox Church. A large audience of faculty members, staff, and students attended the event, which was organized with distinction by the Students for Egypt family
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the political leadership and all those who worked with him during his tenure as president of the university, stressing that he is very optimistic about the scientific and academic future of Beni Suef University. He pointed out that he worked for eight years in an institutional capacity, and that those years were full of achievements and positive transformations that reflected on the university’s academic and research standing, and resulted in a thriving educational environment and strong institutional relationships. He also praised the role of previous university leaders in establishing the foundations of excellence and development within the university
During his speech, Dr. Samah Al-Maraghi emphasized that today we celebrate a journey full of giving and achievements. We celebrate a great and exceptional leader in the history of the prestigious Beni Suef University. His goal has always been to elevate the university and place it among the ranks of local, regional and international universities. He led the university with wise judgment and has many achievements, the most important of which were the establishment of the National university and his interest in the file of people with disabilities
